Social media can be a tricky place to navigate, but it can also be a great resource for education. Especially considering that humans attention spans are, like, eight seconds now…

One way to find influencers and educators is to inquire with brands that have the same educational priorities. Here at Voodoo, we have a few influencers who we highly recommend when it comes to learning more about sex education and body positivity. Social media has not always been friendly to those trying to promote either of those, especially sex education, so it’s extra important to support those who are putting themselves out there.

@__rukiat aka Goddess of Destruction. She is an award-nominated sex educator who preaches all of the goodness of consent, condoms, and pleasure. We can’t help but scream in support of a video educating why abstinence is not the best thing to teach in sex education. Also we love the meme game!

@stephanieyeboah - Stephanie Yeboah is a writer and author of Fattily Ever After. Not only is the whole page filled with fashion, beauty, and confidence, it also contains mega sex appeal. We love supporting sassy women and up-and-coming authors!

@raquelsavage is one of our favorite sex educators and sex coaches on Instagram! Again, social media isn’t always the most welcoming to sex education (which is another problem for another day) and we are obsessed with Raquel’s approach to educating masturbation, sex work, and so much more. You have to love a queen who teaches you how to put on a strap-on!
